First up, hailing from the ever so sunny Brisvegas is Forbes. I've only known about Forbes for around a month but in that month I have been super impressed with what he has to offer. The Abstract EP is available for FREE DOWNLOAD (click the EP title) and give him a listen, you will not be disappointed!

Funnily enough I heard the MattGC Dubstep Remix of 'Spaceship Girl' about 5 months ago and absolutely loved it, but never got into Fozzey & VanC's stuff... this next track is a dedication to one of their friends who died and is simply beautiful (be warned you will cry):

Next up is Melbourne based mc Illy. Illy's latest album The Chase has been getting heavy radio time so it wouldn't surprise me if you have heard him or seen this oh-so-catchy video:
I can't get enough of his tracks, personally I'm a fan of the more serious tracks about life such as this one:
Illy is the perfect artist to listen to before a big night out, or if you are feeling down (exam blues) and the guy himself is doing a law degree so I'll finish this section and let the music speak for itself:

I recently got loose to the lyrical stylings of Pez and 360, on their 'Change it for the Better' Tour and while I was kicking myself for not going to the Melbourne show, the Geelong show was intimate enough that I got the awesome photos below as well as a top-notch show!
Pez is definitely my favourite Oz Hip Hop rapper, there isn't a song of his I don't like, and (in my opinion) his flow is pretty much unmatched. Here is my favourite Pez song, 'These Days' featuring the amazing Hailey Cramer:
I'm sure most of you may have seen and heard 'The Festival Song' by Pez ft. 360 & Hailey Cramer so I'mma give you this:
Rappertag is a youtube video series meant to emulate a rap-cypher online started by 360. The following is 360's original rappertag (click the link Rappertag above to see the dedicated website):
360 is simply amazing live, no other way to put it.. the man can work a crowd, though you gotta feel for him copping a shower of coins when he plays 'do you have a dollar?". Here is a favourite track of mine sampling the Justice mix of MGMT's 'Electric Feel':
You can still catch Pez and 360 in their tour, which ends very soon! Make sure you head over to 360's website and get your FREE DOWNLOAD of Please Be Seated 1 & 2 Mixtapes!
And since you've all been nice kids and read this far I have a treat, (most of) 360's G-Town Freestyle:

Since I'm a nice guy and you have read this far and I really need to go study, I'm gonna share with you a few of my other favourite tracks as well as Suffa from Hilltop Hoods rappertag:
This track is called Lightspeed from American hip hop artist Grieves. I FUCKING LOVE IT! Still going strong after 50+ listens! If you like his sound check out the other Rhymesayers artists, so good!
English electronic duo Chase and Status have come together with London rapper Plan B in this amazingly huge track 'End Credits', it is definitely a favourite of mine and is my most played song, not to mention an awesome video clip! If you are really bored/time happy check out Plan B on Triple J doing a cover of Kanye West's 'Runaway' live here.
As promised, here is Suffa (of Hilltop Hoods) and his Rappertag entry, simply awesome and shows why he is one of the best in the industry.
Forbes's recently completed video for the feel-good sunday afternoon sesh with the boys track "Road Trip", checkit, it's dope!
And finally an extra special treat, from American rapper Envy, you won't find this without being told... this guy is just awesome, check his youtube channel, it will not disappoint!

Thanks for reading this far, if you enjoyed the Oz Hip Hop special please comment, knowing people read this thing is why I do it! If you have anything negative to say, keep it clean and remember everyone has their own tastes and is entitled to their own opinion! Cheers!
